This is confirmed by numerous publications in scientific journals and reports at all-Ukrainian, foreign and international conferences. Professor Kosyachenko L.A. was repeatedly invited to performances, presentations and lectures at Max Planck Institute , Universities of Bremen and Nuremberg Germany.
In 2008, Optoelectronics Department was involved in the project of the European Commission «Cooperation across Europe for Cd(Zn)Te based Security Instruments», whose goal was to develop a device for radiation safety at the borders of Europe. To program the project the consortium was created, which included nine institutions from six countries - Germany, Spain, Greece, Latvia, Ukraine, Finland, and Japan. For the first time CNU was involved in the Framework Programme of the European Commission. The results, published in international journals of high rank and presented at prestigious international conferences are widely recognized by the international scientific community. The cooperation between the Department of Optoelectronics employees and foreign colleagues expanded and deepened. Financing of the project that the CNU group is performing, allowed to buy new equipment, build new modern laboratories, in which sessions with students are also held, course works and theses are performed.
According to experts the working group of CNU in the project was so successful that the European Commission financially supports scientific direction of the department after the official completion of the work. A new international project of the European Commission, the review of which was delayed due to the financial crisis was on the stage of development of the works requested. Optoelectronics Department Head was also invited to participate in the NATO project to establish a network of detectors to identify and determine the localization of radioactive sources.
